Practical Horse Massage: An Introduction
This course provides an introduction to the use of massage on the horse and its benefits. The use of active stretches will also be examined. Opportunities to practise massage strokes and stretches under the supervision of experienced, qualified staff.

Some experience of handling horses essential.
Course content
This course begins by looking at the basic anatomy of the horse. It then examines the benefits of massage to the horse and looks at different massage strokes and their uses. Students will practise the application of the massage strokes leading to a full body massage. A variety of stretches used for horses will be demonstrated along with time for students to practice them.
